This original art postcard is an abstract cityscape, or rather small cityscape. It’s a colorful, architectural abstract of the front of Cottrill’s Opera House in my favorite small city of Thomas, West Virginia. It’s a 4×6 inch abstract architectural watercolor painting in postcard format. The postcard is made of 100 lb. paper, which I’ve sealed so that the painting won’t run. The back of the abstract art postcard is printed with lines for the address and a square to aim the stamp at. That’s in case you’re actually going to mail it to someone and aren’t spoiling yourself (and rightfully so) with new small format artwork for bulletin board, office space, or other small spaces. There aren’t but so many out there, so I made my own Thomas, WV postcard. Cottrill’s Opera House is the gem of Front Street and also houses the Artspring Gallery, which I’m honored to be active in.
