Merry Krampus Handmade Postcard Original Holiday Art 3

Celebrating a renowned cryptid of German / Austrian lore, this one-of-a-kind Merry Krampus handmade postcard with original holiday art features the ever popular Krampus. He's the goat / human cryptid  who lurks on Krampusnacht (December 5), punishing children who have been naughty before St. Nick arrives on December 6. Some children will get treated to his switches, while others get taken to the underworld. The Krampus is popular in the United States for all who love a bit of mischief during the holidays and is used for the whole Christmas season. Melasdesign Handmade Darkness's Krampus design is a new interpretation of classic Krampus imagery, with the holiday beast standing with chains and switches, carrying a naughty child in his basket. Krampus art postcards are designed and printed in Thomas, WV using block print and painting techniques.

The postcard is made of 100 lb. paper, which I've sealed so that the painting won't run during mailing. The back of the holiday art postcard is printed with lines for the address and a square to aim the stamp at. That's in case you're actually going to mail it to someone and aren't spoiling yourself (and rightfully so) with new small format artwork for bulletin board, office space, or other small spaces. Back of card may have minor paint smudges that won't block writing space.
